With my mind and heart wondering through the desert surrounding Tucson this last week, I came up with my newest style of earrings. And so they became... the Tucsons. I took these earrings with me to the desert! They come to you with a little sunset magic!
I used my waxed leather method to create the rich color of the chevron, sewn onto a fan shaped piece of white leather. Subtle white paint dots adorn the sides and gives just the right contrast (see closeup photo!). African turquoise and red jasper hang from the leather, with turquoise seed beads, white bone beads, and red jasper hanging daintily from antique copper chain. Really delicate and lovely and long. At 6.5" long, they rest at your colorbone. Incredibly lightweight.
Niobium earwire for anyone, including those with sensitive ears.
