With my mind and heart wondering through the desert surrounding Tucson, I came up with my newest style of earrings. And so they became... the Tucsons. All of the beads used in this new style were purchase on my trip to southwest!
The Jasper & Jett! I used my waxed leather method to create the rich color of the fan shaped leather. Tiny white chevrons are sewn on with my sewing machine using tawny color thread. A moody black moon rises over the ridge. The fire agate is the centerpiece, with red jasper & black jett on the tassles. Really delicate and lovely and long. At 6.5" long, they rest at your colorbone. Lightweight though not at light as my all leather earrings.
Niobium earwire for anyone, including those with sensitive ears.
